Refund Policy

Although we will make every effort to ensure that your hire goes smoothly, it may not always be possible due to adverse weather conditions, vehicle failure or sudden staff illness.

99.99% of our bookings all go ahead as planned and it would be extremely rare for Rock It Inflatables to have to cancel a booking. We have an excellent track record and feel we go above and beyond to make sure we deliver your hired items on the day and on time.

If traffic or any other uncontrollable circumstances prevent the Company from being able to achieve the booking in its entirety, our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid. No further compensation will be paid to the client irrespective.

A full refund will be paid within 30 days of your hire date if for reasons beyond our control we unable to deliver, i.e. vehicle breakdown, equipment breakdown or loss, or staff shortage. However, this does exclude cancellations based on health and safety grounds, including wind, lack of space or wrong surface type.

Any refunds paid back, will be paid back to the same account from which the payment was received.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing during normal office hours 9am – 6pm Mon-Fri.

All cancellations will be confirmed in writing via email and this must be kept as your proof of cancellation. Cancellations cannot be taken by any other methods.

Booking Fees paid are not refundable, however, if the required cancellation period is given as set out in the Cancellation Policy, we are happy to hold your Booking Fee and transfer any payments you have made for up to 1 year (365 days) to be used against a future booking subject to availability. If you do not use your Booking Fee and payments held for a hire date within 1 year from your original hire date, any monies paid will be void and not transferable/refundable.

If you cancel after 12 noon the day before your hire, including refusal of delivery on arrival, insufficient area for hired items, your booking will be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 100% of the booking value less any Booking Fee paid, and is payable within 7 days. Failure to pay the Cancellation Fee will result in all monies paid will be void, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Cancellation due to adverse weather: Most inflatables are acceptable to hire in light rain and moderate winds. We have many inflatables that come fitted with a shower cover/sun canopy and we recommend these inflatables are booked when hiring for an outdoor hire or event. If however you feel that the weather forecast will ruin your day, you may cancel, subject to our Cancellation Policy. Any Booking Fees and monies paid may be transferred to an alternative hire date within 365 days.

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions of Hire clause 4.18 ‘For outdoor hires, the equipment must not be used in heavy rain or windy conditions. In the event of rain, remove all users from the equipment until the rain has past, then dry off any water with a towel, before use continues. The industry recommends a maximum wind speed of Force 5 on the Beaufort scale of 28 - 38 kph (19-24 mph) when using inflatables. Force 5 is a fresh breeze when small trees and leaves begin to sway, whereas Force 6 is a strong breeze when large branches are in motion, whistling can be heard in telephone lines and umbrellas can only be handled with difficulty. If we have to cancel your booking based on the weather forecast exceeding what our industry deems to be acceptable for safe use, as per the HSE recommended guidelines specified in BS EN14960, and as per Clause 4.18 above, we will telephone you with as much notice as possible and endeavour to work with you to find an alternative venue indoors, or move your hire to another date subject to availability.

Cancellation due to insufficient space/unsuitable area: All equipment on our website states the actual size of the equipment plus the area required for safe use including the height restrictions. If we are unable to deliver an item due to insufficient or unsuitable area, or height restrictions, your booking will be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 100% of the booking value within 7 days.
